I am Oluwatuyi, I grew up in the rural part of Nigeria where there was no access to potable water. Consequently, my siblings and I had to fetch water from rivers several kilometers away from home before we could get water that did not even meet potable water quality. We were more concerned about getting water than getting quality water. As I grew and gained exposure, my passion for water resource management roused, also, how I could make water available for all. Thus, I was keen on changing the narrative of insufficient water in my immediate environment.

My passion water further endeared me to food, I don't want to imagine that we have people in the world today who are not probably fed or do not even have access to food. If I want to be part of the generation that would put an end to hunger then I must embrace agriculture, I have been striving to contribute more to the water- agriculture-food nexus.

The current population of the world is about 7.6 billion and it has been projected to reach 10.5 billion by 2100, I want posterity to remember me for sowing seed of ease and fulfilment that brings about accomplishment of feeding this number by then.
